What This Service Is

When Maintenance
Isn't Enough

Maintenance services are designed to keep a clean vehicle clean. Once a vehicle has accumulated enough buildup — bonded contamination on the paint, embedded dirt in carpets, neglected surfaces inside and out — maintenance becomes less effective. You can't properly protect a surface that is dirty at a microscopic level.

Condition
Heavy Buildup · Neglected Inside & Out
Covers
Full Decontamination + Full Interior Reset
Duration
6–9 Hours
Best For
Coating Prep · Overdue Vehicles · Full Reset

The Signature Full Reset is designed for vehicles that have crossed that threshold. It addresses both surfaces more intensively than a standard detail so the vehicle can be returned to a condition where proper maintenance and protection actually work the way they're supposed to.

For many vehicles, this is the ideal first service before longer-term protection like ceramic coating. A properly reset surface accepts protection more effectively and produces better long-term results than protection applied over contaminated or neglected paint.

If your vehicle also has visible swirl marks or paint defects, paint correction can be added after the reset foundation is in place.

The Process

Exterior Reset,
Then Interior Reset

The exterior and interior are worked in sequence, each completed fully before moving to the next. This is what separates a reset from a standard detail.

01

Chemical Decontamination

Iron particles from brake dust and industrial fallout embed into the clear coat over time, creating a rough surface texture that standard washing can't address. An acid-free iron remover breaks these particles down chemically before a clay bar treatment lifts bonded tar, tree sap, and surface contamination that remains. 02

Wheels, Engine Bay & Detail Areas

Wheels are cleaned including the full barrel. Door jambs, trunk sills, and fuel door areas are cleaned and restored. The engine bay is safely cleaned and dressed. Trim that has faded or become dull is treated with UV-resistant products. These are the areas that separate a thorough reset from a surface-level clean.

03

Hand Wash & Exterior Protection

Following decontamination, the vehicle receives a full multi-bucket hand wash. A ceramic sealant base layer is applied to the paint to improve gloss, hydrophobic behavior, and contamination resistance going forward.

04

Carpet & Mat Extraction

Carpets and floor mats are shampooed and extracted — not just vacuumed. Professional hot water extraction pulls contamination out of carpet fibers rather than simply moving it around the surface. This is what removes the embedded dirt and organic buildup that causes stale cabin odors.

05

Leather, Surfaces & Crevice Detail

Leather surfaces are deep cleaned to remove oil buildup then conditioned with a pH-balanced product. Dashboard, console, door panels, and all touchpoints are reset. Vents, seat tracks, console gaps, and crevices that are rarely reached during standard cleaning are addressed individually.

06

Glass & Final Inspection

Interior and exterior glass are cleaned to remove haze, off-gassing film, and fingerprints. A final walk-through confirms every area has been properly addressed before the service is complete.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked

How long does a Signature Full Reset take?
Plan for 6 to 9 hours depending on vehicle size and condition. The decontamination, shampooing, and extraction processes take time to do correctly. We don't rush the service.
Will my carpets be soaking wet afterward?
No. Professional extraction removes most of the moisture during the shampooing process. Carpets will feel slightly damp and dry fully within a few hours in a well-ventilated environment.
Does this include the engine bay?
Yes. Engine bay cleaning is included as part of the Signature Full Reset. We safely clean the visible surfaces and apply a UV-resistant dressing to protect exterior plastics and rubber components.
Will this remove scratches or swirl marks?
No. This is a restoration of cleanliness and surface condition. Removing paint defects requires machine polishing, which can be added as a paint correction service on top of the reset.
What if I have heavy pet hair or severe staining?
The reset handles normal interior buildup. Heavy embedded pet hair or severe staining may require additional time and dedicated treatment. We'll evaluate the vehicle and let you know what's involved before starting.
Is this a good prep for ceramic coating?
Yes — it's one of the best reasons to book this service. The decontamination and clay bar steps create a properly prepared surface that accepts ceramic protection more effectively. We can discuss coating options when we follow up after your booking.
